The Anderson Roundtable was formed in January 2011 by a group who saw a need to further their education on the true history of America’s Civil War. We seek to impartially study all aspects of the Civil War Era.

While many roundtables across the country use a speaker driven format, we have set a goal to offer topics for individual study and then a “roundtable” discussion forum at our meetings. This allows us to truly engage in studying our subject of interest, the Civil War, and then to bring our thoughts into a discussion forum to further our understanding of topics and open ourselves to differing opinions. Through these roundtable discussions we endeavor to gain insight to the men and women of the Civil War Era.
